Six people were injured while watching a middle school baseball game when a tree was uprooted and fell on them. Two adults and four children were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred at the Northgate Junior-Senior Highschool on Monday during a baseball game. A tree fell onto the home bench, press box and backstop fencing.
Six people were injured including four children. All are expected to make a healthy recovery.
A custodian for Northgate Junior-Senior Highschool said they are working on getting the rest of the trees surrounding the field cut down.
