A crash involving a Port Authority bus has left several injured. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Swissvale Avenue. Allegheny County emergency dispatchers reported that a Port Authority bus collided with a vehicle and then was sent into a utility pole. Power lines fell onto the bus and left a few hundred people without power according to Duquesne Light.
At least seven people were injured in the accident. It is not clear what exactly caused the accident. Port Authority and police are investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
