This month we will be featuring our Personal Injury Attorney Marissa K. Kohl who joined Berger and Green in 2019.
Marissa K. Kohl graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with focuses in law and business. Following her undergraduate education, having grown up in Westmoreland County, Attorney Kohl interned at Mears, Smith, Houser & Boyle, P.C. in Greensburg, Pennsylvania under Attorney Kim Ross Houser. There she was exposed to personal injury law, estates and trusts, workers’ compensation, corporate law and Social Security disability. She left Mears & Smith to attend Duquesne University School of Law where she graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor.
During law school, Attorney Kohl was a Dean’s Scholar and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Civil Procedure. She also worked as a law clerk at Woomer & Talarico where she provided support in personal injury cases.
Attorney Kohl began her legal career as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the Alleghany County Court of Common Pleas.
Attorney Kohl is proud to act as an experienced guide for injured people and their families. She is passionate and dedicated to helping people in their time of true need.
