A nine-vehicle accident in Slipper Rock has left at least eight people injured.
The accident happened November 28th around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 422 and 388 in Slippery Rock Township near Sheetz.
Police report that a tractor-trailer failed to stop and crashed into the back of a stopped vehicle, causing a chain reaction. Police also said there was no evidence the tractor-trailer tried to stop before the crash.
At least eight people were injured in the crash and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Three of those injured were listed in critical condition.
The crash sent some vehicles airborne, leaving them unrecognizable.
The crash is currently under investigation.
