A head-on collision on Saxonburg Boulevard in Indiana Township, has left one woman dead. The accident is still under investigation, but authorities believe a woman driving another van crossed over the center lines and struck the victim in her van head on. Saxonburg Boulevard was closed for several hours while a reconstruction of the accident was done.
It has not been confirmed, however, most head-on collisions result from distracted driving. Distracted driving is not only illegal it is deadly. Texting is the biggest form of distracted driving we see today and sadly, innocent lives are being lost because of it. Do your part by avoiding distractions in the vehicle and never text and drive.
