A man was killed after a tractor-trailer hauling log equipment crashed into his pickup truck in Pine Township. The accident occurred just before 3 p.m. on Gibsonia Road at Karring Drive.
Reports say that a tractor-trailer, hauling log equipment, crashed into the back of a flatbed truck and then crashed into the victim’s pickup truck. That flatbed truck that was struck lost some of the heavy equipment it was hauling. A piece fell onto the road and caused another pickup truck to crash.
One person died in the crash and another was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident is still under investigation.
Recovering compensation after an accident.
If a loved one was killed in an accident, it is important to contact a personal injury attorney right away to review your family’s rights. You may be able to file a civil wrongful death claim.
Pursuing a claim after losing a loved one will never fill the void left by a loved one’s passing away. It is not a matter of profiting for the family left behind, but rather recovering. The recovery of damages can alleviate the unexpected funeral costs and expenses accrued when a loved one passes.
