The accident occurred round 12:30 a.m. on State Route 422, in Plumcreek Township. Two vehicles, a Jeep and a Ford, were traveling west on Route 422 when the Ford began to slow down to make a left turn. The Jeep failed to slow down and crashed into the back of the Ford.
