On Wednesday, July 8, General Motors (GM) announced that they are recalling Hummer SUV models due to an overheating fan. The defective fan has caused three people to be burned already. The recall affects nearly 200,000 Hummer models. This includes the 2006- 2010 Hummer H3 and 2009 and 2010 H3T models.

Rather than saving lives in auto crashes, the Takata airbag is believed by investigators to be taking lives and causing injuries. The recalls of the airbags keep rising, with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles adding 88,346 Dodge Challengers to the totals. The Challengers manufactured from 2008-2010 have been recalled to replace the driver-side airbags.
