A private plane crashed Friday afternoon shortly after takeoff from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort's private airstrip. All three onboard the plane died. Two of the victims on the plane were only 26 and 27 years old.

An investigation is underway to see what exactly caused the bridge to collapse. The bridge is located in the 100 block of North Broad Street and runs over Elk Creek.
