A man was struck and killed while riding his bicycle on route 119 in Fayette county. The accident occurred early Friday morning, around 3:37 a.m., near the Wal-Mart according to police.
The bicyclist was riding in the center of the road when he was hit by a vehicle in the passing lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the bicyclist was not wearing any lights or reflective clothing which made it difficult for drivers to see him.
The accident is still under investigation.
