A man was struck and killed while riding his bicycle on Route 30 in Westmoreland County.
The accident occurred early Tuesday morning around 9 a.m. on Route 30 near Shangri La Circle in Ligonier Township.
Police say the bicyclist was riding on Route 30 when he was hit by a vehicle that was going uphill. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bicyclist was wearing a helmet.
The accident is still under investigation.
