The Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center is an open door shelter; this means that no animal is ever refused shelter. The Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center accepts both companion animals and wild animals. Located in Pittsburgh, The ARL takes in approximately 13,000 animals a year.
