Aldi stores are recalling 35,000 Ambiano mini deep fryers due to a potential fire hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received three reports of the deep fryer catching on fire. All three reports include minor property damage as well.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
The recall involves Ambiano mini deep fryers sold in Aldi stores February 2018- March 2018 for $15.00.
How to know if your deep fryer has been recalled
The mini deep fryers were sold in two colors: red and stainless steel. The red mini deep fryer has a barcode of: 20072490. The stainless steel mini deep fryer’s barcode is: 20072483.
Consumers should stop using the deep fryer immediately and contact Aldi for a full refund.
