Ritz Cheese Crackers have been voluntarily recalled due to a mislabeling issue that could leave people sick. The crackers are peanut butter, not cheese, which poses a high risk for those with nut allergies.
The recall affects family size packages of the Ritz cracker sandwiches.
The recall was issued out of concern that people with nut allergies could consume the products and get sick. However, the company says the packages do include an advisory statement saying the snacks “may contain peanuts.”
The recalled product has a UPC code of 0 44000 03826 7, under these Best When Used By dates:

Consumers should throw away the product or return it to the store for a full refund.
The company says there have been no injuries or illnesses reported due to the recalled crackers at this time.
