Entenmann’s Recalls Chocolate Chip Cookies Due to Plastic Contamination
Entenmann’s Little Bites Soft Baked Cookies have been recalled because the product may contain plastic, posing a choking hazard.
The recall involves boxes of 5-pack mini chocolate chip cookies sold by Walmart, Target, Publix and other retailers across the country.
According to the product’s manufacturer, Bimbo Bakeries USA, the plastic was not baked into the product but was presented during the packaging process.
The recalled product has “Best Buy” dates of Aug. 31, 2019, or Sept. 7, 2019, a lot code of 1350 and a UPC code of 7203002378.
Consumers should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or adverse reactions.
