Conagra brands are recalling their Chef Boyardee rice with chicken and vegetables canned microwavable bowls due to a mislabeling issue that could leave people sick.
The recall affects 2,871 pounds of the chicken and rice product. The microwavable bowls are being recalled due to a mislabeling issue. The rice with chicken and vegetable bowls actually have beef ravioli in it and undeclared allergens are not listed. The products may contain milk and wheat.
Conagra is concerned that people with allergies to milk and wheat could consume the products and get sick.
The recalled product was packaged on January 19, 2019. The products have a package code of 21-00-901-510-500-45-L and a “Best By” date of “July-08-2020” on the bottom of the bowl.
Consumers should throw away the product or return to the store for a full refund.
