The well-known children’s manufacturer, Graco, has recalled 36,000 of their Table2Table 6-in-1 high chairs in the U.S.
The recall has been issued due to a potential fall hazard. The high chair’s legs pivot out of position, making the chair unstable and potentially causing a child to fall.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has reported that Graco has received 38 incident reports including five injuries that occurred when children were in the high chair and it fell over. The children injured sustained bumps and bruising injuries.
How to know if your high chair has been recalled
The recalled high chair is Graco’s Table2Table 6-in-1 high chair with the model number 19699721.
The high chairs can convert into six different modes: traditional high chair, booster seat, toddler chair and a table.
The high chairs were sold exclusively at Walmart stores from October 2016-December 2017 and retailed around $100.00.
If your high chair has been affected by the recall, the CPSC urges you to discontinue using the high chair and to contact Graco for a free replacement kit.
