Aldi Stores are recalling Choceur Dark Chocolate Bars due to a possible nut contamination after an employee found almonds in a bar. The bars do not list almonds as an ingredient or warn consumers of the risk. Someone with an allergy to almonds could be at risk if they were to eat the chocolate bars.
The recall affects all 5.29 oz. Choceur Dark Chocolate Bars with a best by date of July 24, 2018. The UPC code is 4149817964.
Consumers can contact Aldi’s customer service center or call 1-800-325-7894 regarding the recalled product.
So far there have been no reports of illness due to the consumption of these products.
