A man was struck and killed on the Parkway North as he was changing the tire on his pickup truck Thursday. The accident occurred on I-279 North near the Camp Horne Road Exit.
The victim was changing his tire on the right shoulder when the at-fault driver veered off the road and struck him. The victim died due to his extensive injuries.
Pennsylvania Police said they have charged the at-fault driver with careless driving. They do not know at this time why the driver veered off the road.
