Collaborating with the Summer Youth Cafe, their joint efforts aim to ensure that no child or family goes hungry during the summer months when access to school meals is limited. During the Schools Out Radiothon, iHeart Radio stations dedicated an entire day broadcasting live, featuring special segments, interviews and performances. The event showcased the talent and dedication of radio personalities who lend their voices to amplify the importance of education and inspire listeners to contribute to the cause.
Funds raised benefited the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and its summer lunch program. At the end of the event, they raised enough funds to serve 110,000 meals.
Berger and Green graciously donated $5,000.00 to help serve those in need. The funds will provide nutritious meals over the summer to those in need.
